Project: Cladding Cleaning, Warehouse Floor Cleaning & Commercial Painting
To carry out external stripping and recoating of commercial building cladding which included high level cleaning. To clean and degrease the factory facade to allow for industrial spray commercial painting and re-coating. To clean factory floor and use our team of commercial painters to paint and demark the floor of the factory and warehouse.
Our factory property surveyor carried out a full survey, liaising with the client management team. Various options and the approach to the cladding cleaning, the warehouse floor cleaning and commercial painting of the cladding and factory floor were discussed. It was essential for a working schedule to be implemented and agreed by all to meet the client schedules and work within the forecasted weather conditions.
There were obstacles regarding weather conditions and busy production to be considered during the working days these were overcome by APT implementing a detailed but flexible approach and day to day management of the factory cleaning and painting areas.
Clean down the external cladding and degrease all elevations to allow for the commercial painting. We stripped and removed old paint coatings from the cladding then treated the cladding with anti-rust primers before the commercial spray-painting team began.
Our industrial cleaning team prepared the warehouse floor for restoration, they cleared, degreased the floor of removing any debris before stripping. Our team of specialist commercial painters then applied the appropriate paint according to the client’s specifications.
For the high-level cleaning we used specialised lift access equipment.
The project was delivered on time, on budget and in line with the work programme.
