Poultice cleaning is a specialised, water-free method of deep cleaning stone. It cleans gently, drawing out any contamination that has penetrated the surface which would be difficult or impossible to remove using other methods. It is the perfect solution for cleaning when the use of water, dust producing cleaning methods or chemical cleaning cannot be tolerated.
Cleaning masonry with poultices is one of the gentlest and safest ways of cleaning stonework but it can produce astonishingly effective results. It is particularly suited for cleaning:
